Furano Ski Resort: Two Zones for Double the Fun

The Furano Ski Resort is divided into two main areas, the “Furano Zone” and the “Kitanomine Zone.” Each has its own unique character, and they are connected at the top of the mountain, allowing you to ski between them.
  • Furano Zone: This zone has a longer season, running from around November 05th to May 05th. Its courses are generally wide and gentle, making it perfect for beginners and families, while also offering enjoyable long-distance runs.
  • Kitanomine Zone: This zone is open from around December 20th , to March 25th. The slopes here are more challenging and are a favorite among intermediate and advanced skiers.

2026-2027 Season Dates

Furano Ski Resort is scheduled to open for the 2026-27 season on Saturday 28 November 2026. The resort marks that date as provisional, so it can still move with snow conditions and operations.

As of 29 September 2026 the resort has not published period breakdowns or lift operating hours for this season. Please check the official winter page before you travel.
